Participated on the core team to develop the web instant messaging (IM) client for the Myspace web site. First worked with the product manager to document the requirements, then made wireframes, flows and visual design mockups to define the product. Worked closely with the developers to create the actual product, providing additional visual specifications and performing regular QA to ensure that the product fulfilled the requirements. Product encompassed many different components, including an IM bar or console at the bottom of the site pages, a “popout” window version, along with adjunct site pages or overlays required for IM functionality.
